What we collect

Alienscript has no accounts. It collects the following data through Google Firebase and RevenueCat:

Turning off analytics and crash reports

Starting with version 1.1, you can turn off Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics in Settings > Privacy & data (“Share crash reports & usage stats”). It is on by default. When it is off, the app stops sending crash, diagnostic and product interaction data: Analytics stops immediately and crash reports stop after the next restart. The setting does not cover purchases: RevenueCat still receives the anonymous app user ID and purchase history needed to verify and restore Premium. Version 1.0 does not have this setting.

Purchases

Premium is bought through the App Store or Google Play. Purchases are managed by RevenueCat, which receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history. This is used only to run the app's Premium features (verifying Premium and restoring your purchase). It is not linked to your identity and is not used for tracking.

How it is used

Crash, diagnostic and product interaction data is used only to find and fix crashes and to understand how the app is used. It is not linked to your identity, and it is not used for tracking.

What we do not do

Camera and photos

The camera and the photos you choose are used on your device to read alien script. Images are processed on the device and are not uploaded.

Security

Data sent to Firebase and RevenueCat is encrypted in transit.
